solstice 2025
A multi media collaborative project with the artist Holly Dewett in 2025 to record over the hours of day light in France and Athens.
Each hour of daylight was documented begining in France under a 300 year old oak. From 05 until 14 hr in sections of I min. A film and recording was taken at the start of each hour, with both artists writing and drawing in situ. At 15 hr Holly continued the process until night fall.
The resulting set of 18 drawings come from the recordings and the visuals sonograms of the recordings made from 05 - 14 hr on June 21 2025.
The resulting film and text were linked and the whole project piece resulted in a 36 wall drawings, soundscape, writing and film.
