taken from photos and drawings this was the first work I made after moving to France. Inspired by Hokusai's wave and developed over a period and from my metasea prints .
This work has various dimensions and presents the sea as a series of ever increasingly fragmented but endless whole and movement - asking the question of where borders lie.

Because the paper is extremely lightweight as the viewer walks past the work it moves. each piece is suspended on small nails.
